I hope yall had a good Halloween! In case you're wondering what missionaries do for Halloween, we had our district meeting, did a few visits and lessons, then came home at 6:30pm and carved a pumpkin! We had a pumpkin carving contest with the whole mission!
This week was great, we saw many miracles! We met with our friend Elaine and she's been taught for a while. We invited her to be baptized and she said yes! Elaine is the sweetest! I'm so excited for her! When we taught her about the spirit world she was so happy to know her sons, who have passed, are waiting for her there and are learning the gospel too!
On Saturday, we had a rough start to our day. We went to visit a media referral but it was his mom's house. She told us she's already saved. A common response we get here, and a common response we give is to ask, "that's amazing!! What does being saved mean to you?" She must've thought we were being condescending because she almost swung the door off the hinges and said, "what does being saved mean to me- have YOU been SAVED?" And then turned around and stormed off into her house again. The next person we tried to visit we parked on the side of the road near the neighbors house. And I kind of parked in their yard... when we got out of the car the neighbor asked us to move it. I felt so bad!! But when we were walking back to our car he realized we were missionaries! He told us how members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helped his dad after a bad hurricane a couple years ago and that he was so grateful!! That made my whole day turn around!🌼
That's pretty much it! I love y'all and Jesus does too!!🤍
Please pray for
